There is a great event coming up that we would like to help spread awareness of, and that is the upcoming MS Walk with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada. The MS Walk is in its 18^th year and is an annual fundraiser of the MS Society. This year’s MS Walk takes place on Sunday April 19^th.  It’s a fun, family-oriented event that raises funds for multiple sclerosis research and services. If you are not local or cannot attend and want to sponsor a walker, this is a great opportunity.

They also have a “text to win” contest where Ontario residents can enter to win an iPod Touch by texting the word ‘MSBLOG” to 101010. The contest deadline is the same day of the walk (April 19^th, 2009). Contest rules are available online. Please click here for more details.
